camping/festival checklist

Hi there - we're going to be camping at a festival this weekend, with a baby . I've been completely disorganised and am only just writing a list of stuff we'll need. Does anyone have one to hand to help me out??

TIA

Best advice i ever got was take a decent wheelbarrow. Carries all your stuff and makes a great seat when your there. Im serious too old for festivals now

Lots of wet wipes - keep some on your person, lots of plastic bags, a mobile phone that doesn't need charging every day and if you can find a Dyson Ballbarrow it will be more useful than an ordinary wheelbarrow in mud, otherwise try to find the folding sort designed more for garden waste than rubble as it's lighter and packs smaller
  • Which festival is it? Reading/Leeds?

Toilet paper. There's never any in those portaloo's.

Alcohol hand wash is essential, sun cream (you hope), water proofs (more likely)

    Heres a list on eFestivals:

    Tent
    Sleeping Equipment
Cooking/drinking/eating gear if intending to cook even if only tea/coffee in the morning
    Ear defenders for baby
    Wet Wipes
    Toilet roll
    Anti bac hand wash
    Nappies for baby
    Alcohol for adults
    Baby food
    Water container
    Washing gear
Keep a set of dry clothes in your car
You can buy adult food on site
    Money
    Camp in family area
Find secure lock ups and deposit valuables if big festival e.g. Leeds/Reading
Leave stuff you can't afford to loose at home
    Waterproofs
Off course if you are at a festival that allows camping next to your car then some of the above needn't apply (you can bring even more stuff)
  • Zip balm, my lips get dry and cracked as I'm outside at festivals alot more than normal. Also a woolie hat as it can get cold on a night. Have a fab time. Also I sleep with my valuables (phone and purse) in the bottom of my sleeping bag.
