Fuel may be dearer up here but the other day on a journey south I travelled for 23 miles before passing another car.....that allows for really good fuel economy.
The odd tractor does hold you up for a minute or so now and again but the worst are the tourists in their caravans who will not pull over to let others passed.
Do all you can to fight global warming...when the ice cap melts all the people from low lying areas will move here....!!!!

Thanks for remembering Edinburghlass. It is non-ferrous anthropoids up here today with flurries of snow, so it is liable to be just as cold your end manyana.
Hope the game is competitive to keep the interest up.
In terms of money saving...it is worth the 80P toll on the bridge just to get out of Edin when we have had our usual 'doin'
Still, her indoors who must be obeyed, has just booked up for a week in Lanzagrotty next week, so I will get a wee injection of sunshine to dispel my SAD syndrom..... I tried to get her to follow the MSE system of haggling to get the price of the last - minute hol down a bit, but she is not a full convert yet.

Another suggestion for MSE 'ers who make use of Boots offers..Next time that you are in Boots take the top off a bottle of Ambre Solaire and have a wee sniff.......it just makes you fell good for a nanosecond, especially in the Winter gloom. Remember to put the top back on after your 'something for nothing' experience.

I am hoping that this, my 26th post, takes me out of the Newbie range but I still feel like one

    Scot's wha hae......
