can somebody please tell me if this is a good deal for the samsung d500?
I have been looking around for deals for this phone and found one on vodaphone for £15 a month with 250 free texts a month too, does this look like a good deal?
I only ever use text messaging really and am trying to find a deal with plenty of free texts.
thanks for your help in advance.

I wouldn't advise trusting these little known mobile retailers where *Cash Back* is involved....might look like a good deal with cash back, but if you don't see a penny, it's no good. Just read the Forward Cellular (now in administration) thread. You'd be better off getting the phone direct from Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange or BT or a trusted seller like CPW or e2save. I got my D500 from BT.0 -
Its £15.99 a month on a 18 month contract = £287.82 total cost! the minutes are off peak same network, you are bound to make a few cross network calls; a 10 minute cross network call would add £3.50 to your bill on this deal

There is no cash back on this particular deal anyway only on the higher tarifs. and have not heard of this company before so would be dubious about the cash back,
I work for O2 and can offer £19 a month for 12 months with 50 Xnetwork ANYTIME minutes and 500 text. Or for £20 a month 300 Xnetwork OFFPEAK minutes and 500 text.
D500 for £24.99. Total cost £252.99.(on the £19 offer) £34.83 saving on what youve seen and a LOT more for your money! AND every year a brand new phone!
How does this sound?

Hi just a quick update.
I ordered the phone anyway, its come now and I am fine with it. its a great phone.
I still can not complain about the £15 a month. I text more than what I ring. I probably only every ring some one 1 or twice in 3/4 weeks and thats usually only for about 5 mins at the most.
