Hi all. Want to use these to do a tour around Silverstone. Anybody done the tour or used Buyagift.
Have found that its £29 each or £60 for a couple? Which is a bit strange.
We are hoping to do this on the 1st Oct. for a ladies 60th.
Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

My hubbie and I did the tour a couple of years ago - we were bought it as a Christmas present, but didn't do it till the following October.
We had an afternoon slot and really enjoyed it. They split you into mini-bus sized groups to ferry you round and then stop at various points - we went onto the top of the British Racing Drivers Club building and then had a look at the inside, went to the race control room, drove round the outside of the track, went into a couple of pit garages and stood on the winners' podium for pictures plus a few other stops where we didn't get out while driving round the track. You get a certificate at the end to say you've done the tour.
The guides drive the minibuses and tell you what's what going round the tour. The one we had was born in a house on the edge of the circuit and had been involved in racing so he knew everything about everything.
It took us a few goes to get a date for the tour as they only do them when events at the circuit allow.
If you're going through Buyagift make sure to use a discount code - there are always some on the MSE Discounts board and there seems to be a 25% off one on HotUkDeals expiring on 31 August.0 -
Hello
The Silverstone Tour gets very booked up in advance - they don't offer it every day of the week.
Next available dates (24 October onwards) can be found at: http://www.silverstone.co.uk/experiences/driving-days/tour-silverstone1/
If you want to guarantee a date you may want to call Silverstone directly and book.0 -
Brought the deal. With 20% off, now have to book the venue. Many thanks to you both.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

bit late but I can recommend buyagift, I used them to buy a Chelsea tour for my dad for fathers day which was cheaper here than elsewhere. He went a few wks ago and really enjoyed it- I can recommend them, let me know how the silverstone tour goes as was hoping to get this for MIL at xmas.
Also once you buy from buyagift they send you a discount card for I think its 10% of any future orders0 -
Also - Buy a gift- I understand from friends if the voucher is getting near expiry date and you haven't managed to use it (illness in this case) BAG will happily replace with new voucher.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
