Looking for hotel accomodation Windsor/Slough

We've got a wedding in Windsor on 24th Sept and need a hotel for the night along with another couple.
The hotels in the centre are so expensive so we've started to look a bit further afield to Slough and the 4 of us can just share a taxi.
I've found a good deal for Holiday Inn Slough - £45 per room plus £5 parking per car (we'd have 2 cars between us). We were considering sharing a 2 queen bed room between the 4 of us but don't know if we fancy sneaking in, if we get caught I presume we'll be charged extra.
Should we risk sneaking in? Does anyone have any other recommendations for cheap hotels in Windsor?
