Crealy adventure park in Devon

Hi all.
Off to Wollocombe on our Sun holiday next weekend.
We are two families one 10 year old and one 11 year old.
We are thinking of going to Crealy for the day. Stayed around Wollocombe many times, but never been here.
My question is,- Is it suitable for older kids, and is there enough to keep them amused for a few hours?
Dont want to pay for something that they'll get bored of easily.
They are both thrill seekers and love Alton towers etc.
Had a look at the website, and the overall impression is that it's geared towards younger children.
Any thoughts or experiences?

I would say they are slightly too old for Crealy having been there in the past. My son is 9 and loves Alton Towers and I don't think i'd take him to Crealy now.

I have 2 daughters aged 9 and 5 and they love it. They can spend hours there. They love the outdoor play areas which have some pretty scary slides aswell as the big rides. To be fair there aren't many big rides but enough to appease my 9 year old.

I think it's a fab day out and went there just last week. Got there at 11.00am and left at 5.30pm and the kids loved every minute. Am now looking at a season ticket as it is pricey to get in.

    Hope that helps

I live very close to Woolacombe, and I regularly take my 12 year old and 3 year old to Cornwall Crealy, it's not as busy as the devon one, but if you are after a full fun packed day, I would recommend Flammbards, it's an extra hours drive, but well worth it. You can also go onto their website to get BOGOF entry tickets, this works out as £10 pp a lot cheaper than their usual entry price. They open approx 10am and don't close til 9.30 ish, if you go on a Wednesday during the summer they also have a firework display. The queues aren't anything like Alton Towers, so not too long to wait to get on the rides either. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the information. I think it may be a bit limiting for older ones, so we'll probably give it a miss.
