can anyone tell me if the bmx bikes are lighter than say a mountain bike type? 6 yr olds bike is so heavy i struggle to get it in the boot! do these type not have gears? what else is the difference please
  • I have one and have ordered another for other son, I didn't find it heavy at all, but wife does.

My one doesn't have gears, like others have said it is easy to put together if you follow instructions took under 30 mins, cant really go wrong for £35.

This should be lighter, an no bmx only have a single gear.
20" wheels frame might be a touch to big for a 6 year old?
