Overlimit on CC for the last 2 months - does this affect credit rating?

Hi guys,
I have a bit of a dilemma. Basically two months ago, I went over my credit card limit because a retailer charged my card twice. I can't remember if the bank charged an overlimit fee however the duplicated charge was refunded back onto my card. Will this show up on my credit rating? Even if it wasn't my fault?
I've been really careful with my card after this but just last week the bank added the monthly interest onto my o/s balance and this brought it over my card limit. I was then charged an overlimit fee but this morning I've seen that this fee has been reversed. So, again would this 'overlimit' show on my credit report?
Just a bit worried and I'm not sure how the credit report works and what would be recorded. any advice, help appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think so - as long as you have not missed / been late with any repayments? If you will the end, you must will the means.0

It shouldn't, because the breach was clearly not your fault as the second transaction was not authorised by you.
However, they don't always get this right so I would check you credit reports and speak to your bank about it.0 -
Agree, technically you didn't go above your limit as you never owed them for the second transaction.
To be sure you really should get copies of credit reports. You just can't rely on something not being reported, even if they told you nothing was reported.
I would only not bother if I knew I wouldn't be requiring credit for a while (several months at least) as these things do fade in significance over time.0 -
I went overlimitIt's a health benefit ...0
