    Was that not 0.6% :)
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher
  • So hands up all those who think that our hard-earned taxpayer's money is well spent on work like this - which dupicates and adds nothing to the plethora of more substantial and accurate house price indices?

The so-called "Department for Communities and Local Government" surely should be heavily pruned and consigned to the unemployment scrap heap?

If they are allowed to exist, I would much rather they do something useful. Sending us all a list of who our "Community Leader" is for example [because I haven't got a clue who mine is and apparently these are extremely important people who can stop the riots].

Isn't this Pickles's lot? There are well over 100 [deputy] Directors on this shower. God knows how many staff. I mean look at this motley crew:

I simply must question the need for 'Neighbourhood Analysis', and whether they would recognise any "Strategic Statistics" if they bit them in the face - never mind have a Deputy Director in charge of them!

A few thousand P45's would not go amiss, and I suspect no-one would ever notice!

Any organisation that could be led by the likes of John Prescott is probably up high on the list of being a waste of time.

Surely this is highly derogatively of the eloquent John Prescott.

His speak is direction from his gutted and can be very blunt and forceright in the house for one thing and second it was justicified that he had two Jags on view of is wife's hair what comes from Umberside like the man herself.

Mind you, I agree he was in the wrong job. Should have been Education Minister.
