Has any one been in a similar situation.
I have recently received a letter from HM R&C Re: Tax Credits for period April 10 to April 2011 where they have highlighted we owe them the full year amount even though they informed us the year before with our changes that we were entitled to the full amount.
Please let me know how you resolve the situation
Thanks

Try and write to them and appeal it, if that fails then you have to agree a payment plan !0

Did you return a signed declaration that year? If not they can demand the whole year back. Did they give you a breakdown of why you owe the money? If not then you need to say you appeal and want to see how they worked out this over payment.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
