    An alternative is a voucher for a meal in a restaurant near them, inserted in a thankyou letter or card.

    I agree with contacting a local florist, to your budget, send a card and one from your daughter to the florist and they will deliver them at the same time as the flowers.
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.

    Ive used the website Bunches loads of times and theyre all lovely flowers and at a really reasonable price too x

    I always think a well written, thought out letter is far better than any gift. As mentioned, I would write one yourself and also your daughter, get her to detail exactly what she enjoyed and maybe you could follow up at christmas with a card and update on how your daughter is getting on.

    I think flowers or a plant would be lovely. I like the idea of sending the cards to be delivered with the flowers. I just go on https://www.yell.com and search for local florists. I then tend to look at the ones with websites and get an idea of prices.
