I've only tried using vouchers three times, but my pockets are full of Tesco ones for next time I pass by (they're not local to me and with crimbo i've been super busy!).

First time I spent £21, used one £5 off voucher... scanned the highest value i had, then put in slot... it called for the assistant who authorised it, but to save suspicion I didn't scan any others (are you meant to scan them all before putting them in the slot on self serve checkouts?).

However, as I was leaving with my racing heart from panic and joy at a fiver off.. I saw the stack of big tins of chocs! Yep, you guessed it, £5.xx each, or 2 for £9.... I picked two... went back to a Self serve checkout, another five quid voucher brought them both to only £4! (same assistant authorised again, but i did the pally eye roll at the hassle of him being so busy at this time of year and he smiled and tapped away without blinking).

Third time I was thirsty, bought 2 Frijj milkshake things (buy one, 2nd half price) and used a £1 voucher :D

Will they still be valid after the expiry date, in Tesco I mean?

I think with Tesco looking at the coupons policy in stores it wouldnt be a good idea to broadcast how much people have used Somerfield coupons - especially as tesco are aware of this site !!!!!!!!

I dont mean to be a killjoy, but threads like this, and the many others in this forum of a similiar disposition will only seek to grab the wrong attention. Its akin to shooting yourself in the foot.

You made a saving?. - Great, fantastic, wow, but keep it to yourself eh!?

That could be true of any post in the Grabbit thread though....

Not wanting a big row, just it's hard to tell what you're meant to post to say you've got and what you're not anymore, hence I'm just going to flit around posting about what applies to me :)

Agree entirely and with Sandybrag. We all know 'Mr T' reads the forum so to brag that we saved £x on a £x shop wouldn't really help our cause. At the same time to boast we saved £x using legitimate coupons will I'm sure meet with his approval. More cash in their bank:-)
