How to access to £10k from my credit card

Hi all

I need some help!!!! I am trying to work out how to get £10K from my credit card to my bank account. Trying to get my head around this one.

I have a £11K credit card limit with 0% offer for transfers (3% handling fee). It is not a supercard (i.e. cant transfer the money to my current account). Can I somehow work the system in my favour? Can I simply transfer to the money to a another credit card and then ring them and say I have overpaid by accident and get them to transfer the money to my account?

Are you trying to dupe them out of the money, if you need 10k apply for a loan

Crazy guy...no I am not trying to swindle them. The credit card route if it can work is cheaper than paying 9% personal loan. I only need the funds for about 12 months

I am actually buying a business and need to pay 6 months rent upfront

I can pay solicitor fees by card £3k but not much else

If you have another card with a high enough limit you could use that to pay yourself the money via paypal and then balance transfer to that card - but you'll need to pay paypal fees.

You would need a card that is 0% on BTs, which also allows transfers to a current account to be able to do this, but it's not particularly uncommon.

Putting a card into credit is a breach of T&C but some cards are much more relaxed than others about it. egg was quite happy to refund money to my bank without charge when a supplier refund put my egg account into credit, but in that case it clearly wasn't deliberate on my part.
