Online PPI claim help

Hi there!

I currently have 2 active credit cards with PPI on them. One is with RBS and one is with Halifax. I have had the Halifax credit card since 2005 and the RBS since around 2008.

I am very sure I did not ask for PPI to be applied for my RBS credit card as I remember saying so when activating the card - the advisor tried selling it me. I have since dug out the paper work and the PPI section is ticked (by print not by me) and I have realised that I have been paying it!!!!! I don't know how this has happened as I know I didn't want it after having it on my Halifax one as I knew how expensive it is!

I have also reviewed my Halifax credit card and realised that I wouldn't be eligible for a payout anyways as I was in a fixed term contract at the time but I know it is hard to claim for online applications.

Can anyone advise if it is worth pursuing PPI claims for these online applications?

Thanks

christina
