First time to London 2 adults 1 child
best place to stay near to sights ie Buckingham Palace, Tower of London etc.
looking to stay in travel lodge/premier inn etc which one????

We are staying at the travelodge near London Liverpool street next week, it's the station that our train comes into and is close go the tower of london

We stayed at the Tower Hill Travelodge and found it excellent, don't bother paying the extra for breakfast as there is a little pub right next door which is excellent value for food.
It's about 5 mins walk from the Tower, obviously a little further from some of the other attractions but it's just round the corner from a tube station. The open top buses also stop right outside the Tower of London so it would be easy to go for a hop on/off pass to do all the sightseeing.
