How can find out if I paid for PPI

Hi,
I took out a credit card with Lloyds TSB in 2002 and think I took out PPI with it, but I transferred the balance to another card to get a 0% interest offer in about 2005/6. Am I able to find out if I did take this out if I don't know my account number?
I still have a current account with the TSB, am I able to go into the back and ask for the credit card account number even though its no longer open?
Thanks

Hi,
You'll find some useful information here: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance?utm_source=forum&utm_medium=clicks&utm_campaign=resourcebar#step1
If you ask the bank, they'll probably be able to track down the card number for you.0
