Sony's TV Firmware for BBC HD?

Hi just checking & wondered if any one as downloaded 'Sonys firmware' for its TV's to solve audio drop outs on channel BBC HD. With the firmware update procedure for TV Model # KDL-46EX713, it says after 'Zip file' is unzipped, a folder will be created & then copy to usb device. My question is do you copy the unzipped folder or open it then copy contents to usb device?

Appreciate your help

Thx

Hi just wondering once unzipped do I copy the folder or just its contents, or does it not matter? also is it OK just to 'extract all' with Vista?

    Thx

This is from the Sony update instructions
    1. A folder 'sony_dtv0FA00A00A0A0_00020100' will be created in your local drive after unzipped, then copy it to the root of your USB device.

      Important notes:
    2. Make sure that there is enough space on your USB device.
    • The update will not be performed if the folder structure, name of the folder, or name of the file inside the folder is modified.
You can see them here for my model, I would not think those for your model will be different.

Might I suggest you firstly check step number 7 because your set may well have updated over the air, mine did.
