Not happy!!! Is there anything I can do??

:AHi. I've recieved two negatives in a month -the first being for a samsung hands free kit - which the buyer has neg'd saying it doesnt fit her phone with no contacting me first. The second is for an ornament - the buyer said that it was broken on delivery - so I gave her a full refund no questions asked - but still gave me a neg? Is there anything I can do???? Both of these buyers have under 20 fb when I have over 350 fb at 100%:(

If you gave a refund on the second item then I would leave a response to the feedback to that effect. A well written response would go a long way to reassure any potential buyers who read the negative feedback

Thanks verity. The 2nd neg feedback states - full item and postage refund so very fair - but then a neg? I'm not so worried about customers seeing it as it's obviously not a bad comment - but more worried about eBay kicking off?

What is your feedback now and what does your expanded selelr dashboard look like?

No point sending one unless you definitely know they will agree as you only get a limited amount.

Some people would have viewed that transaction as a non-positive - after all the item arrived broken, you did refund but they didn't get what they bought and if it was a rare or valuable item then they may just have viewed it in a negative light. You may not have packaged it correctly and in some cases even an apology and refund after the fact, which are expectations in this case rather than "nice gestures" can't change their viewpoint.

Everyone gets negs from time to time and eBay care more about the stars.

I don't think I would have left feedback at all but if the message is calm it's a simple statement of fact. I would leave a well worded response - don't call them any names or tell people to "avoid" or "beware" - that just makes you look foolish and argumentative - but if the buyer is unhappy and unwilling to reconsider then there's not much you can really do.

I would also block these people in case they are tempted to embark on a vendetta against you.

    Hi
    Thanks for all your replies
Soolin My items as described is 4.92
    Communication 4.90
    Dispatch time 4.90
    P&P 4.85
    Is this bad or ok?

Crowqueen - The items in question were both 99p, and the one was an ornament wchich was wrapped very well but the customer said that two bits were missing but not in the pack so it hadn't been a case of bad packaging. - I have no idea what she was on about when she said there were bits that should have been on that weren't so for a 99p item I figured it was best to just refund?
    Martindow - I certainly will.

Your headline figures aren't bad so you can weather some bad feedback without a problem. You do need to go and check your expanded seller dashboard though to check for low stars.

Thanks so much for your help soolin - i really appreciate it. For low stars I've got one for dispatch speed and one for p&p over 12 months - If I switch to 3 months there's just the one on P&P - is that what you mean?
