Starting the PPI reclaim

Hi
I am just starting this reclaim business not sure whether I will be successful or not.
I had a series of 5 loans with Natwest running from 1997 til 2008 so they are looking at them. After I asked them to in a phone conversation and also an email to ceo. That was last monday on Friday they rang and asked me which one I would like them to look at, I said all five as I cant really remember which ones had ppi but defo the first two so the guy on the phone said he would look at them all. I think all of them as I know its something I always took out when they said better to have it for safety.... not realising that it wasn't that much of a safety net. Heard nothing else..... I'm impatient so its killing me... I now bank with RBS instead of natworst.... but think once this is all done I will move to a "nicer" bank.
I sent off Questionaries to MBNA and M&S as well.
I tired on many occassions to get the ppi taken off my MBNA card until I gavee up tryin to do it verbally and asked them to do it in a letter. I paid all of my MBNA card off in April 2008 a whooping 6K and have never had dealings with them since. I think I may have claimed two months on the PPI before I paid off the balance in 2004 and tried to close the account but then reactivated with my post natal depression.
The M&S was a personal reserve account which I closed in 2004/5 so not if that will do anything.
Also two loans I had with Nationwide I sent an email but havent heard anything back other than it was being forwarded to the relevant dept.
Anyone had any luck with any of these lenders and timescales?
Thanks

Wishing you luck on all your reclaims.
I would also go for the M&S as well, as long as you still have the account details I would give it a go with your reasons, as many have still been successful from reclaiming even from the 90's.
If this applies to you and you were only just made aware of the mis selling of the PPI, then let them know that as well.
The usual timescale of them all are 8 weeks, but the FSA have given the main of the banks extra time due to backlogs.
Please keep us posted and fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
