Emergency credit card

My daughter is off to Kenya in a months time for some volunteering work. She's just left university and doesn't expect to have a full time job until she returns after her African adventure.
We want her to have a credit card for emergencies while she's abroad (she's very sensible and we know she won't misuse it). Are there any cards out there which don't require her to have a regular income?

If you trust her could you not add her as an additional card holder to one of yours? Without a job it will be difficult to be accepted for credit.0

if you really do trust her, why not just make her an additional cardholder on one of your cc accounts?
she probably wont get a credit card if she doesn't have an income. and if she does, the credit limit will be low, and the apr will be high!0
