B&B Llangurig/Rhayader

Anyone got any recommendations for a nice, cheap(ish), quiet B & B in the Llangurig/Rhayader/Llandrindod Wells area for August Bank Holiday weekend?

Good luck with that. We were in that area recently and I asked the same question on here but received no replies so we ended up driving there and back on same day (had to take my daughter to a Girl Guides meeting).
There are loads of B&B's in the area but I found all the ones I rang very expensive.
Hope you have more luck than we did.

try Highland Moors in Llandod. lovely couple and beautiful house. has good reviews on tripadvisor. not sure about price tho.

also The Cottage in Llandod. on the main road through llandod but there is a bar/restaurant over the road called Joules which does smashing evening and dinnertime food.

Elan Valley Hotel near rhayader might be worth a look too.

Thanks. I've found a farmhouse B & B in Llanyre, a mile or so out of Llandrindod Wells called Highbury Farm. £27 per person per night which sounds very reasonable, compared with a lot which were £40 or more.
