in Credit cards
I got about 2 weeks ago in the post a letter from CapitalOne that they will increase my credit limit on the card from £200 to £800. Is that good or bad? (I've never asked for them to do so, it came automatically)
I'm planning to leave the UK in January back to my home country, so is it relevant to me anyhow?

It's good in that they see you as a lower risk of default and other financial institutions will see that change. It's potentially bad if you have little discipline as the money is there to spend. It's only relevant if you want to use the card0

Depends if and how you intend to use the card. The card can be used outside of the UK.
It's good you've been offered an increase as it shows your risk profile is lower, but bad if it were to push your total available credit too high. But I doubt if £600 is going to cause a problem either way.0 -
I'd spend it flat and then clear off back to where it is you're going.....(kidding)"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
