Accidentally gone over credit card limit - HELP

Hi

I have just realised that I have gone over my credit card limit, I am so cross with myself!!

I keep a spreadsheet and update it every time I spend money (well clearly not always as I forgot one transaction this month).

Can any of you offer me any advice as to what to do to limit the negative effects of this mistake on my credit score??

Many thanks

PAY it back ASAP also probably contact them too to explain the mistake, if you cant pay it back, ring them anyway, they may offer a small increase to your credit limit to prevent charges.

Pay it back now, plus a bit more to cover any additional fees and interest.

Ring them up, apologise, and politely ask them to refund the £12 fee because you're usually good.

I have already paid the due balance in full. I will call them in the morning.

    Thank you for the help.
