Camping where should we stay?

Im travelling from London to Chester with 3 young children. We want to stop somewhere nice inbetween any suggestions welcomed

would Ludlow be in between? I like Sparchford farm near Ludlow. Just a field with showers and toilets but very tranquil.

If you don't mind a slight detour, go via Oxford to Evesham and across to Great Malvern, then to Chester either on the M6 or along the welsh borders. At Great Malvern is a lovely campsite called Blackmore belonging to the camping and caravanning club, (on their website at campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk) which we visited often when our children were young (and took them to fly kites on the hills). Worth a couple of days if you have the time.
Another quiet camp-site is their club-site at the Clent Hills which is near junctions 4 and 5 of the M5 just south-west of Birmingham.0
