Hi folks,
DH is taking me for a DREAM weekend in London for my Birthday. I will be 35 so I need cheering up!
It is our first time away from our children, and I want to cram lots in. DH has a surprise itinerary for me, but I really want to go into the Tower of London. I wondered if anyone knows of any deals??
Thanks folks!
One very excited SFG x

If your travelling to London by rail, then a 2for1 London Tower of London might help.
If your not travelling to London by rail, you can still use this offer if your using a 1 day Travelcard to get around London (as long as it has the national rail crows foot logo on, ones purchased from a railway station and not an underground station) or the ultimate steal buy a Vauxhall to London Waterloo single @£2.20 and use that.Whoa! Hello superflygal
It's free entry to the Tower of London..............for the ceremony of the keys.;)
http://www.hrp.org.uk/toweroflondon/whatson/ceremonyofthekeys.aspx
Every night of the year, the tower is locked up and a small group of members of the public are invited to watch the ceremony. I've seen it, it's great.
You need to book in advance but it is free.

Don't know what type of train tickets you have but it sounds like 1st Advance tickets, if they are then just remember this, from the 2for1 FAQ'sIf for example you are buying single tickets, e.g.Advance tickets to London for a one-way journey on a Monday, and Advance tickets for departing London on a Friday you will be able to use the vouchers during the Monday-Friday period, provided you show both outward and return tickets (remember to tell the train company staff that you need to keep your outward tickets!).
So don't put the ticket into the barrier machine at your London Terminus as it will eat the ticket(s), show the ticket(s) to the man on the barrier and explain that you need the ticket(s) for your 2for1 deals.
When I use the 2for1 offer at the Tower last year, I took all my advance tickets but the woman at the ticket kiosk only had a glance at the one on show in the ticket wallet.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0
