Ebay - hiding purchase history?

Hi, just a quick question - is it possible to 'hide' all purchase/selling history from everyone/one individual?
My ex has been emailing me via ebay 'commenting' on things I've started buying and I don't want him to continue to do this seeing as I'm now happily married with a baby on the way and he's usual looking to cause trouble.
I don't really want to have to close my account & open a new one as I'll lose over 500 feedback & 100% rating
Thanks, C xx

I'm not sure if you change your user name if people who have you saved get your new id.0

Hi OP... What an awful situation!!
How about changing your user ID?
eBay will automatically attach your Feedback score, to your new user ID so you won't lose it.
I'm just not sure whether someone will be able to search on your old ID and be able to get hold of your new one.
I'm sure someone will be along soon and be able to confirm this.0 -
You can ban users I am sure but ask ebay for new accountEVERYTIME YOU THANK MY POSTS A PUPPY DIES!
TAXPAYERS CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP YOU ANYMORE GET A JOB!0 -
A new account is your only option because even if they are private sales. All someone needs to do is to search via goofbay to see it all.
I'd actually report him to ebay (nothing to lose) as he is using the ebay system it may constitute abuse of the system. Make sure though you ignore him as plonkers like him only find it interesting if they get a reaction.
Also make sure if you sell he's on your blocked bidders list'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Actually just had a thoughtlet, if you block his id, then you can request that blocked bidders can't message you but that would be all bidders blocked.
May not be much help as he could always open another account himself.0 -
You may use it as long as you link it back to me.
I'm full of new words, it was only a smidgen of a thought, not properly thought through. A bit like my life really.0 -
Personally, i would open a new account. It will have feedback in no time, and unless your selling too - you don't need that high a feedback score to be classed as a good ebayer.
Changing ID would mean that if he has saved a link to your page - it will still take him there. Chances are hes saved a link to one of your items - that will not work after 90 days, so keep the old account there (you can have more than one account) and just don't use if for a while - use the new one. Then change the user name. But if the saved link is to your feedback - it will still take him to your new user name.
My ex bid on 100's of my items many years ago while i was out. It took me days to claim back my final value fees and i lost the listing fees. I also had to re-list everything. I opened a new account. In them days you could move feedback to a new account - but i don't think thats the case now. But you can check with Ebay if they could do this for you.
A new account is the best way - and don't use a user ID that is obvious to people who know you.0 -
Thanks for all your responses guys, will have a think about what to do. I will open a new account if it's the easier way, and although I buy more than I sell at the moment, once I lose my job (19.5 days & counting) & we move house next month I really want to sell a lot of stuff.
So annoying!
