Working in the UK for a German company.

HI
In September i will start working for a German company that manufactures product and sells to the UK. They have been doing this for over 10 years... but have never had a UK representative.
I will be employed directly by the German company and they are going to use the German Embassy in the UK to sort out my salary (and pay NI and PAYE etc). I assume this is a service that the embassy commercial side offers.
My main worry is that when i come to get a loan later on, or remortgage, and they ask for employer details - i can only give them the German office info. Will this be an issue? Will i be less likely to get a loan/mortgage if the company does not have a UK company set up? They dont really need to set up a company as they invoice their UK customers from Germany.
Would appreciate any help/advice you can give.
Thanks

Have you checked with the German Embassy about this arrangement to 'sort out' your salary? Sounds a little odd to me, and I can't find any reference to this on the German Embassy in the UK website."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
