Positive result from Equifax

Had a outstanding debt with the Next Directory back in 2009. After a few months of going into default a door step collector was sent who took the payment. Some 6 months later, Next sold the debts onto another collector. I had no longer kept my reciept from doorstep collector and the collector had no record of the debt being settled. And then all went silent, got one last letter asking for payment and ignored it. Checked my Equifax Credit Reference and there it is "Club 24" Defaulted.
So I disputed it about 3 weeks ago with Equifax and they added a notice of correction a few days later saying that I was disputing and my file may not accuratly show my worthiness.
Today got an email from Equifax, stating that they have removed the notice of correction and Club 24 next month will update the agencies to show the account as Settled.
Next month will see Club 24 go settled, Orange go from 3 missed payments to Up to Date, Barclays Bank from Arrangement to Pay to Up To date and Cabot Default to Settled:j
