ppi on loan, bank has been borght out

Hi all I had a loan that started in 2008 with Alliance and Leicester, for £4000 I know at the time on the phone I was told I had to have a form of PPI otherwise I would no get the loan.

I have finished paying the loan 2 months ago, but I would like to reclame the PPI as I feel it was miss sold. The thing is A&L are now owned by Santander. Should I write to Santander? also how should I word the letter?

You can write or phone,although phoning is faster.
Look here for reasons for mis sell and if any/all apply to you then put a claim in.
