My Default Expired today

I am so happy that today my default expired after six years and has been removed from my credit report.
I regret my stupidity when I was younger for getting into trouble but feel such relief now that i can get on with my life an hopefully buy a house of my own.
My credit score has jumped from fair to Excellent 999 rating and i am over the moon.
Dont give up hope if you are in a bad position. It can and will get better.

Just for the uninformed (me), what did you default on? A mortgage payment? A loan payment?

I had a second bank account that I stopped using when I set up a student account and used that as the main account.
A few years ago I got a letter saying I defaulted on it as I was in the overdraft and I had not credited the account and it had been passed to a collection agency.
I have learnt not to ignore things hoping they will go away.0 -

I've got 3 left to drop offbut I did have 5 and 1 dropped off early!! (No idea why!) and 1 dropped off earlier this week!! It's such a nice feeling and I can imagine how great you feel now!!
