can people only claim ppi back if it was on a credit card or a loan? just a thought and sorry to sound dumb but i had a telephone call off a company ( one of those reclaiming for you companys) and they said that i might possibly have a claim going back to when i had my morgage with nationwide.....
i hadnt even thought of claiming to be honest as I never ever get lucky and i probably wouldnt this time either....
my mortgage finished years ago and so i politely declines their offer ( he was adamant though) but now..........
I AM THINKING HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
wouldnt it be lovely........

As a general rule, if you didn't know that you had a complaint then a random cold caller won't know about one either!
Endowments and PPI are completely different products. A lot of endowment policies were mis-sold, but you haven't said anything to suggest that yours was (and in any case most - but not all - endowment claims are now timebarred).0 -
Do not listen to claims co, they will tell you anything to make you sign up with them.
Mortgage ppi is not so easy as loan or cc,this depends on what you kind you have and the reasons you think you were mis sold.
Dunstonh will be able to help you more re mortgage ppi.
He may post later.0 -

That is what they want to think. That way you dont mind paying their up front fees (or the fees they introduce later on when they come back and tell you that you may have a case but have to pay £500 to further it)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such.
