Hey all.
Just been on the phone to RBS as had some loans out and was missold the PPI from back in 2003.
The loans were both about £1000 and i am told i am entitle to about £150 on each.
They say i now have to wait for further corresondence.
How long does it take from here and what is the process?
Well happy with this. :T

This is odd! people are having to wait for claims from last year, how did they do this so fast?.0
-
It is possible they have taken your claim and you will have to wait about 16 weeks for your offer, this is usally what happens, i would be interested to hear if you got anything back sooner.0

It went like this..
Today
Contacted RBS main line
Contacted RBS local branch
Contacted RBS line who branch gave me that deal with PPI claims
They looked at my loan details from 2003. Said i had two loans for roughly £1000 each and that i had PPI for about £150 on each. Said that my case looks like i'll get paid out and that they will send a letter in a couple of weeks and then go from there.
Also gave me a phone number to use if i need to check progress.
Perhaps calling them speeds things up rather than sending letters??0 -
Yes calling is faster, you may get a letter in a couple of weeks saying they need more time, please let them have this as you will be better off doing this than going to FOS.
Fingers crossed.0 -
Sorry but what is a FOS?0

The Ombudsman, Financial Ombudsman Service.0

Thanks. I was thinking fos and ombudsman were two different people.
Thankyou very much for your advice.0 -
