Used batteries??

I'm just wondering if there is a market for used dead batteries (AA, AAA etc.)
I can't see any on eBay and I imagine the postage will be pretty costly. I know they can be recycled etc. But is there something else I can do with them to make a little cash? I've a bucket load!!
