Can I reduce postage costs after a sale has been made?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if any of you clever lot can help me?
I sold two items to one buyer on ebay. I combined the postage and entered the amount, but I must have done something wrong and it just added the two postage costs together.
Can I reduce this now in a way that makes it convenient for the buyer? I don't really want to go into cancelling the transaction or anything like that if I can avoid it.
Thankyou!!!!

I usually send the invoice with the two items on and enter the amount I want to reduce the total by in the seller discounts box.
You have to put a minus sign before the amount. Preview the invoice before sending it to confirm it looks OK.0 -
Or if they've already paid you can do a partial refund through Paypal. I've done that twice when I overestimated P&P costs.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
We have overcharged on a couple of items for postage, and once we have posted the items and got the correct postage, we then refund the buyer..So much for 'Money Saving'0

I've just taped a couple of £1 coins and an explanatory note to the item before now and the buyer was very happy.Oh dear, here we go again.0
