    I thought this included flights.
If its only accommodation, then 99, is good but not great. Try travel republic for cheaper options.

If you really want to exploit the timeshare lot, then its possible to get recon visits including flights for 99 in some cases, but again you have to put up with sales pitches.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm sure that they would have to make it clear that it was a timeshare before going? No mention of this on TripAdvisor.Certainly am not going to spend 2 hours on a talk!!!

    Q. Do I have to pay for anything extra? A. Apart from your flights (which you can source yourself or book through our fully bonded travel partners Zephyr Holidays) the only other costs are things like food, excursions, and any other holiday extras you decide to have. Please note that you are not obliged to eat at any of the restaurants or purchase your meals onsite

Look, I'm meaning to argue but....
The Marbesa Club is owned by Heritage Resorts.

Google "Heritage Resorts" and just count the number of times the word "Timeshare" appears (it's 13 times)
    In fact here: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Heritage+Resorts&safe=active

It's a timeshare resort, simple as. (okay maybe it's a "membership access to our hotels", but we all know what that is).

You can even buy weeks in Marbesa today: http://www.visionsoftheworld.com/page/heritage_resorts_marbesa_club_timeshare.html

  • if its not stated as a timeshare then you are in no obligation to go to the meetings etc, i booked at the 5 * capital coast in cyprus a few years back, accomodation was brilliant and meals etc when i booked was mega cheap, as i booked independently they did try inviting me to one but just told them straight i was not interested and after that they left us alone. mom was tempted to go to a meeting for a free bottle of wine and free hairdo but i managed to persuade her out of it however an old london couple used to do the rounds of these for the freebies:rotfl:

^^^ Good to hear - timeshare can be like anything in life, there's good and bad.

Just need to be aware that you're going to a timeshare resort and if you've no intention of buying, make it clear as above - but you will be asked (nicely in some cases, not so nice in others).

P.S. I've no problem with timeshare, we're up to 5 weeks now and had done a few cheapy 'timeshare tours' as well - I just think people need to be aware that resorts they're staying in are timeshare, as in this deal. The experience you get in the gamble, but at least you're ready for it.

Marbesa Club is a time share resort, hubby used to work there. All you need to do is sit through a 90min presentation and that's it.Worth the money of the holiday in my book.

Go to Skegness if you want a cheap holiday. There's about as much spanish culture in Skeggy as there is in Marbella.
from growing up in marbella, it only takes 1/2 into the mountains and you may as well have gone back 80 years,...theres culture.
