Tesco clubcard vouchers - What is the best thing to do with them?

OK - each and every time I have received my clubcard vouchers before now I have saved them and then converted them into x4 deal vouchers and had a night away with the missus at a nice hotel. Had about 4 now in the last 2 years.
I have my latest vouchers in and have just under 40 pounds. As someone new to this site and the veritable savings that can be made I wondered if there was a better way to get increased value from clubcard vouchers. Or whether deal vouchers and hotel weekend breaks is pretty much as good as it gets.
Many Thanks in advance

I think it depends what you want to do with them. As long as you don't spend them in TESCOS you get a good deal. Look at soem of the tips on ways to boost your clubcard points and maybe you could have a holidya etc0

Thanks ella - is there a seperate sticky or topic just with suggestions for imcreasing clubcard points - or are they interwoven with the main tesco code thread?
I am generally very good with my clubcard points and never spend them in store. I have also on occasion purchased small amounts (2-3 pounds) for face value off of friends that were just going to use them in store though that hasn't happened for a long time ;(Play up Pompey!0 -
You will find tips all over the site. There is one on here on health and beauty vouchers, another on till spits, another oncodes. I'm sure somebody else with more knowledge will be along later to point more out0

Well you certainly have the right idea, OP, as you have always converted them to Deals anyway.
The best thing to do would be to go to Tesco's clubcard part of their website and browse, see what you could use them for. If not holidays or Days Out, then there are magazine subs and car servicing, all sorts of things to make them worthwhile.
Oh, and I, for one, will be holding on to my converted clubcard vouchers this year, rather than throwing them away once I have used them online. Although once converted they can't be used in Tesco, some MSEers have said that Sainsburys may accept them. As they are valid for 2 years it would seem worth keeping them, just in case Sainsburys or Asda announce they are taking them!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Mine took 4 days from the day I posted off my old style coupons (without a an internet barcode) This was last week. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Quicker, safer & easier to do it online if you have the newest vouchers with the online code on. Just done mine ready for MFI sale, only got £440.00 took me a year to get this, partner has £100.00 but will save those. Not bad as I don't shop there all the time & don't benefit from the wine codes, a beer drinker myself.
Should take a couple of days this way.0 -
I'm also saving my vouchers for MFI - need a new kitchen for the kitchen that hasn't been built yet but should be up within the next 6/7 months. The MFI association ends in April so I am trying to clock up as many points as possible.

Hope you can help. I was collecting these to use for vouchers for buyagift but it said under the terms & conditions activities could only be booked for the person named on the vouchers. I was saving them for my OH. Is this true and does it apply to other offers for instance the holiday ones ?0
