DMP - can you pay off one of your creditors if your in a DMP?

That's ace!
I'm so buying a book tomorrow and doing something along those lines. The aim for me is to pay off my debts so I can go to uni (and get more in debt
) but for the right reasons.
I'd also like to be able to just go and buy something if I like it, and be able to pay cash. Which admittedley I wont be able to do when I go to uni, but that's not for 2 years 8 months, so I'm hoping to have my debts paid off in 15 months.
And if I'm honest, I'm treating myself to an iPon nano tomorrow,
. I've not treated myself for AGES though, so it's just a little reward to me for all the changes in the changes in my life recently.
Damn, I'll explode if I try and justify this purchase to myself anymore
Thank you for the book idea, it sounds fabulous!0 -

energised - treat ya self, its like dieting but forgetting to have that little piece of choccy your craving.... you end up feeling hard done by and eat some eventually but cos u feel quilty you have to eat more before you can enjoy it thus putting on weight!!!

Capital one are charging interest still because I didn't include them or barclaycard in my DMP as I was still using them. I would pay them off straight away £60 is nothing.Barclaycard 3800
Nothing to do but hibernate till spring

Haha, I'm also trying to lose weight too. It's hard not eating and spending! The Nano was a treat to myself for (in my opinion anyway!) doing so well over the last couple of weeks.
I also really need one to entertain me at the gym!
And the money I'd be using would be from my mother who very kindly gave me £150 (lucky boy me!) for Christmas today.
Great work on the credit cards! There's a pic of my shredded ones in my DFW thread. I've thought about the iPod a lot, and I'm going to treat myself
I also really really want a new Mexi fender strat, a DSL401, an xbox360 and a 26" HD TV!
They'll have to wait though haha!0 -

It's hard isn't it! I'm on 1900 cals a day and gym 4 times a week. Which I've been doing for.... 1 week! I'm really enjoying it though and I'm finding because I'm eating smaller things at 8am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 6pm and 8pm I'm not feeling the hunger at all. How are you doing with it?
yeah I'm lucky to get the money, I really appreciate it.
Ahh definately! my mate is getting a huge one on credit, just... no! I will never ever buying anything on credit ever again (except a house and possibly a car!).
Ohhh I want This one!0 -
i cant afford the gym
and my dmp would not see that as something i need..... wish i could eat like that but as i do shift work my body is all over the place.
i have a treadmill in my room and run for about 20 - 30 mins a day and sometimes an hours walk a dayOfficial DFW Nerd number 227

Ahhh shift work. I can imagine it's really hard to follow a pattern doing that, I sometimes do a 12-8 shift (once every couple of months ish) and it confuses the hell out of me so god knows what it must be like changing all the time!
I get the gym for £27 a month which isn't too bad.
20/30 run a day is fair going though, apparently small amounts of exercise every day as opposed to one big training session a week is much better.0
