DCLG survey.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13760176

I'm suprised this hasn't been posted yet, so I've done the dirty deed.

I ought to provide a funny punchline, but I can't think of one at the moment.

Anyway, there it is, make the most of it.

I wonder why on earth the DCLG is even tasked with a survey on house prices.

Does it serve any purpose at all ?

Surely the Land Registry figures are all the government actually need to provide.

    No takers ?

The bulls must be out grazing. ;)

I suppose there's not much to discuss, up one month, down the next. Although I must say that I think I voted -5% in the 2011 price survey. That opinion looks reasonable, or maybe a bit optimistic (depending if you dump in the woods or the fields).

    I voted for -1.5%.
I was balancing the 1.5% I predicted for 2010 to reflect stagnation.

I was too pessimistic in 2010 and there is a chance I could be again in 2011. ;)
