Hi all looking for advice could anyone tell me if their is such a thing as a wireless transmitter/receiver to enable my daughter to watch sky tv upstairs.the sky engineer told her that she could get multi-room at an additional price which is not an option.I could run a wire upstairs but I hate the thought of drilling holes everywhere. If someone could advise me on the best option.
thanks

av senders, try argos as they likely have some. go into scart output and send the signal to a receiver upstairs again in teh scart input.
Some good, some bad, price dictates usually.
My experience is they are not great but serve a purpose.0 -
We have a video(AV) sender currently sending the signal from our Sky box in the living room to the bedroom at the rear. It works very well, except when my son comes home late at night and puts something in the microwave which blocks it. It also interferes with the wireless router signal to my son's room but that is only a rare occurance.0

If you go that route she will only be able to watch the same channel as the TV downstairs.0

Just cable it you wont see it, exit at the same point the sky feeds enter then just cable to a TV socket on an external wall in the bedroom.0

TBH the receivers aren't that reliable. The best option would be to wire it.All I want is the chance to prove money can't buy me happiness0

I use a video sender, one thing though internet does cause a pain for it but when switched off works fineDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Have you got wireless, and has she got a computer/laptop (or an Xbox 360). If so she could use Sky Player.0
