PPI Claim - Who do I claim from????

Hi all,
I've checked some of the other threads but I'm not 100% sure who to chase to reclaim my PPI payments. Hopefully someone can give me a steer in the right direction - here's the background.
I applied for a £10k loan with Capital One in November 2004 and the paperwork arrived with the footnote "Your Capital One Loan has been provided by The Funding Corporation". The loan agreement was signed on behalf of The Funding Corporation. The total cost of the loan included £3,720 for PPI which was underwritten by AXA.
My question is this - who do I complain to, to reclaim the PPI?
I am aware that TFC were not covered by the ombudsman until after I had taken the loan, so can I complain to Capital One or to AXA (or to both, or to neither)?
Many thanks in advance for any / all advice received. Cheers

If you are alleging a PPI mis-sale, then you need to complaint to the company that sold it to you, which from what you said was The Funding Corporation.
However, looking at FSA register, TFC was a trading name of Capital One, so try them.
Insurance premiums are not reclaimable unless found to be mis-sold.0
