Asda eMachines PC P4 3.06

In today in Asda
eMachines E4094 model
Spec listed here http://uk.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=E4094

to summarise
Processor is higher spec than cheap celerons
No monitor
Includes everything else you need including Windows XP Media centre

Forgot how much either £299 or £249 but was competitive price

Don't compare directly to the entry level PC at PC world. This is a higher spec machine.

  • I'd say the deal is not very good, only 512 RAM, no monitor, and the motherboard will be locked so no overclocking. Hard drive only has 2MB cache.
Integrated graphics which'll cut into your RAM and mean you can't play fairly recent games. I don't think i could recommend this to anyone.

For a cheap entry level PC, I don't think this is too bad. You can't expect a graphics card capable of playing the latest games at this price and not everyone's into gaming.

If you can find a similar deal for a better price, then provide a link.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

spend £60 more and get a decent Acer with a shed load of good reviews and dual core plus 1GB memory
