Honestly i get what your all saying, i have delt with similar companys to this in the past so everything your saying rung home dont worry. I already backout of a few which ahve put me right off for all the reasons youve mentioned im no muppet when it comes to stuff like this cold calls, legality, policies, i know my rights and who to talk to if im unsure so i wont do anything unless im 100% that means 100% safe, 100% sure.

Just i cant help but feel that if they were really this bad and so many of you didnt get your money back then you would have gone to trading standards, Fraud agencys, etc and filed complaints like with MCO capital and there subsiduaries, delt and beat them for a friend. The firm would have black marks against them prior reports, complaints, or have been closed all together.

But we will see what the Fraud agency come up with. any black marks n its a no, lenders want you squeaky clean, well we want them to be too

The admin fee:rotfl: for the portals is a rip, i cant deny that at all it all gets sorted in 1 so why 12 right, this is so you can log in a expore other finance solutions (debit management, payday loans etc) if your getting a loan surely you shoudlnt need anything else after that expecially in 3 months, and if you did surely you can just ring them up again. time they were challenged on this me thinks.

Also they make a point they cant gaurentee you a loan over the phone, well yes cos that would be stupid they dont know you or if your details they have a correct, know lots of folk who try it on if someone says no, they use there naigbours address or change there name round, all swings and round abouts someone elses word against another, even living in house were i still get mail to a mr x, y and Mr y,x same man different but very similar name.

Anyway So rather than chase my tail ill have the fraud agency check them out, and if they come back clean ill probably bite the bullet unless something better and less risk shows up in the mean time, and if anythign goes wrong which you lot are saying it most likely will, i will post on weather i got the money back, how fast and all that noise and if goes well ill happily tell you you were wrong :p

Anyone any opinions on Logbook loans? the credit unions obviously a good choice but you have deal with them for sometime first, which i might be able to do witht he bank in 3 months anyway, but main point is i dont really cant wait that long.

Also for of you who have delt with these lot and backed, bailed, or simply been done, were did you go? were do you recomend short of the credit union

I don't have first hand knowledge of any of these companies, I only know really what I've learned on here through reading and commenting.

Payday loans are great if you use them as that, to last you until payday and then don't have to "extend", ignore them and they'll envelope you...like an envelope.

Log book loans have a worse repuatation on here and nearly all lead to tales of woe, just read through the last days posts.

There are no true sub prime lenders left with the exception of Provident and other shady "door step" collection type people.

All the shysters like Welcome are out of business becuase nobody paid them back what they borrowed.

Herd a lot about log book loans only reason i mention it is that i dont care if they take my old wreck good riddens :D
Just dont know anythign about them, liek what you need, what they want etc etc.

Think with these sites your never gaurentteed an happy ending, but is that them or people just rolling over, very few actually fight tooth and nail, but its worth it, got me out of the debit the Halifax had put me in over the years and had them pay a good chunk of it back, and stopped them trying to put me in arrears over the last 100 quid by simply contesting it, as by law if you despute a debit then all proceedings stop untill it has been resolved

The fact is when a person has a bad credit rating nobody will lend money aside from payday loans, guarantor loans, doorstop lenders and as Elvis says logbook loans. You won't get a loan from this company - if you think about it rationally and have been burnt before you know you won't. You are wasting time and effort in trying to investigate this company. Just walk away with your bank account intact.

Is the money to pay back payday loans? If you cannot afford to pay them off, even one at a time month by month then I would recommend you consider defaulting on the agreements, open a new bank account, empty the account they have access to, and then try to arrange repayment plans with them, or get some advice from a debt charity to help you arrange a debt management plan. Thing is they'll charge you a fortune, repossess your car and still want you to repay back far more than you borrowed. Its not that they will take the car and then consider the debt is paid off. If you don't need the car then why not start by selling it and using some of that money and what you don't then spend on running costs to clear off some of your debt - far more cost efficent than stepping near a logbook loan co.

You're not seriously telling me we have someone here who HASN'T already given over their bank details, but who after asking on here and getting comments from many people, IS STILL WILLING TO GO AHEAD AND HAND OVER THEIR DETAILS????

    The worlds gone mad.

In that case, go ahead friend. but don't come moaning next week that they've taken £70ish quid and you have no loan paperwork.

Dont worry i'll be leaing it alone tho to be honest these lot dont seem to be as bad as yes loans or flm loans not pushy in the least or tey there best to talk you into it. Question is how and why are these sites company's still trading and why has no one who has had these problems not reporting them?
Shame really as bank were throwing money at folk not 2-3 ears ago now they might as well hang a signon the door saying no we wont lend you money.
A few folk have recomended a couple of other places to try so will have a nosey least mention them on here and see what people have to say about them, but it's looking like more and more people are going to be pushed tomoving debit onto credit cards, just going t have to tighten the belt for a couple of months just a loan would have made life so much easier and so much less stressfull

On the log book loan front, yer i could sell it but finding someone to buy it after all were all up against it and everyone wants stuff for nothing, thought about selling it to a brakers but only offered me 200 quid for 1200 quids worth of bike.
Think life would be easier if tradingstanards would be willing to reveal more about loan companys such as unsecured loans, yes loans, instead of just adsvising you to research them.
Jut a shame the bank only works off your creit rating rathr than your actual financal situation, detest the Halifax for what theyve done to my credit rating over the last couple of years of dealing with them.
There must be something out there that lists credable lenders instead of leaving to pot luck

Anyone ever delt with Zopa? seems to be pretty much the same crack as Unsecuredloancompany, only difference is this place comes clean about you having to wait awhile for them to find you a loan, this another scam,as there % is low but 130 upfront fee!

Before any of you start paning me over this one just a query rather than give them my oney
