    The single scart socket on the back of the Sky HD box can be used for that purpose.

    Use a scart lead to connect that socket to the VCR (you then set up the VCR to record from the scart socket).
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    The are two ways;
    Scart from Sky box into video then another from the video to the TV.(providing your Video has 2 scart sockets,they should also be labeled which is in/out ect)Then you record from AV source on the Video.
    RF Aerial lead from Sky box to Video RF IN,the RF lead from Video to TV Aerial port. Select a channel on the Video (I use #6) & tune the Video into the Sky box (Normally channel 60/65) then tune the TV into the video.(easiest way is to play a Video tape & tune the TV until you can see what you are playing.)

    Hello Macman, the OP is a newbie poster. I think she made a genuine mistake. I don't think she posted twice in order to get a faster response. :beer:

    After you click Edit, 4 buttons appear along the bottom of the box. Delete is the second one in from the right.
