Not enough detail to work anything out

however the situation NOW with unsecured loans is
-all lenders can only charge the outstanding balance plus up to 2 month interest on early loan settlements
    -similar for overpayments

If you can't be bothered to read the T&Cs, why should they care whether or not you understand what you are signing up for ?

I dont know anyone who sits there reading the pages of any T&Cs word by word, you perhaps wrongly assume you arent going to be getting shafted.... You could say the same about PPI, yet millions of people are claiming them back...

I of course fully accept and understand that fact... just at the time when you need something, you dont really look at the big picture.. as they know you need the money so will pretty much agree to anything!! At the time, I never expected id be in a position to pay it back early...

Still PPI's are now seen to have been mis-sold, or unfair :-)

    No they havent.

Having PPI is not considered bad. The whole issue was how they were sold and set up. If sold and set up correctly then there is no wrong doing.
