    Add clause 123B(iii) "The mortgagor shall not drill holes in the house or perform any structural changes whatsoever without a written certificate from a qualified building engineer that such modifications will only be performed by registered licensed people....."

    New headline. "Concerns over gaps in Education". 'An independant report has today concluded that people are drilling holes into their expensive properties and severely damaging their value. A Think Tank has concluded that the school carriculum doesn't include any DIY subjects whatsoever, and the Housing Minister and Education Secretary have been heavily rapped by Age Concern, Council of Mortgage Lenders, and the Building Trades Unions....'

    See who can be first to foresee a 30% drop in house prices owing to inexperienced owners getting onto the housing ladder without understanding all the risks House Prices set to tumble due to fears over safety of structural walls......

    We await your post. "I've been warning about this for years. But it hasn't affected prices in Aberdeen...... seasonally adjusted number of holes declining....
