Have an iPad currently running on a 3gb data that lasts 3 months ( amazon deal, cut sim down).
3 coverage seems good so....
They have a £5.11/ month 2gb included phone sim 1month contract- what's to stop me using the sim cutter and popping this in the iPad?
Or- I have an iPhone 4, would the 1 plan iPhone sim support mobile hotspot use?
Thanks

First I'd say grab a free payg and check the signal for yourself rather than rely on the coverage maps which are "best guess" - this goes for all networks means no bad surprise later!
The sim-only One Plan does allow tethering (but not if you get the PAYG with the all you can eat add-on). Not sure about the 2GB data-only sim, you're going to have to dig through the T&Cs I'm afraid unless someone can confirm on way or the otherNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
I know they can detect and block 2g phones that have a Three sim card in, so they have the capability to detect that the device the sim is in an iPad and block it should they want to. I'm guessing they intend the sim to be used in a phone and it will say this in their T&C somewhere. Is it worth a gamble?0
