£100k-150k any ideas?

I have £100-150k to invest or save for a period of 5 years+. My ISAs are maxed and I own 0 property but have a £30k student loan. I am unemployed and will probably remain this way for the forseeable future so don't have student loan obligations as it is. I have a high risk tolerance.
Thanks in advance for any help!

What options are you looking at?
Stocks, property, forex, bonds....all of which apparently are going to crash if you watched that 'moneyweek' advert. lol0 -
If it was me, I would do a stock screen on larger companies that have a history of mainataining or increasing dividends, and have good cash flow
Some of my favourities for a 5 year time horizon include Aviva, Tesco, Vodafone, Glaxo SmithKline
Make sure you re-invest the dividends0 -
Trust Grannys old saying dont put all eggs in one basket
If you have no job keep a good slice in cash and Index linked NS
The rest to little for direct equity a good spread of low cost funds covering equity and fixed int
Avoid anything promising huge growth or guaranteed returns - there are lots of dodgy schemes out there

Bonds is my largest fund but not in any currency I otherwise hold. Get inflation index certs from the PO and keep it simple

how do you live?
if its benefits you can kiss those goodbye with 150k in the bank0 -
You are asking an impossible question - when you don't even have a view on whether to save, invest, or do both.
With this amount of money, the 'answer' can only come from a quite detailed discussion with you together with a lot of feedback on your objectives. None of this has been given.
A bit like me asking you "I have a 17 year old son. Should he go to university, and if so, can you advise me on which one and what subject he should study?"0 -

I appreciate cynicism as much as the next person but fortunately for society you couldn't be further from the truth. For various reasons i'd rather not give out my actual occupation but I have enough money to live on and my capital will increase over time outside of this investment. You are asking an impossible question - when you don't even have a view on whether to save, invest, or do both.

I should have said in OP, my objective is very clear: maximize by capital allocation in investments depending on expected return and risk. Feel free to ask any relevant in depth questions if you think that makes a difference but to be honest, I think it's more likely you just don't have a good picture of how to invest this amount because there really isn't a huge amount of options. I'm just disappointed there hasn't been a secret cloak-and-dagger 7% return answer that I hadn't heard of already. Are you looking for an income from these funds or do you havemoney coming in? IF so is it from any taxable sources?
I am open to both income and non-income from the funds. All money I have coming in at the moment is not taxed.0
