Alliance & Leicester Online Saver Issue 7 - sort code???

Probably being really daft, but I can't work out my sort code for my ex A&L Online Saver account. After searching the forum I found an old post describing how to find out your sort code, but it's probably changed since then as the post post pre-dates Santander's involvement in A&L!
Anyone have a clue?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Dear LucyTheDwar
I think this sort of thing if I were you iI would call A&L. You will never know People who might know this might make mistake such as typo, etc.LucyTheDwarf wrote: »Probably being really daft, but I can't work out my sort code for my ex A&L Online Saver account. For savings type accounts I "thought" that A&L only let you PULL money into your savings by way of a Direct Debit. You cannot PUSH money into the account by way of a transfer into a A&L account sort code - hence you ain't going to find it.
So you have to log into A&L and go to something like make a deposit to add to to your savings.0 -
The old 'direct savings' (eSaver, Online Saver, etc) accounts run by A&L used the following information:
Sort code.......72-58-10
Account No....00000000
Reference.......your 11 digit account number
You may wish to check (with them) that these details are still correct, and they haven't been changed following the Santander takeover. Alternatively, just send 1p from your current account and monitor your balance online.0 -

If you've got your altered new Santander Savings account number then you just transfer the money to 09-00-00 a/c 00050005 using your savings account number as the reference then it should go through. Ring customer support or go into the branch to double check your A&L account number isn't slightly different now its on the santander account system.0
