I've just put in a claim with HSBC a week ago today and am waiting for their first reply. Fingers crossed

I sent the PPI reclaiming questionnaire to HSBC 2 weeks ago and had heard nothing so I emailed them via internet banking and got this reply...

might try myself to email them too through internet banking, i think they are sorting older claims first! good luck

Sounds optimistic.
However I've to first check if they (miss)sold me PPI or not
