Help with DSR

Hi Everyone
I need some help
I have been trying to get my ratings up but I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
I have a 1 on communication but yet I send a recieved payment email, then a dispatched one and always post the next day.I have a 2 on Postage but yet I always pack very well and only ever charge 30p average on top of actual charge or sometimes free.
How can I tell who is leaving what stars?

Any help would be great

Lou

You can't but don't obsess over it.

If someone asked me for feedback and to click stars I'd usually not bother or just leave a 'great, thanks', FB get's done when I am ready and I have time. I can't stand nagging buyers, a star and feedback is optional not mandatory.

Maybe the kind of things you are selling are to people that don't bother with the stars.

I've been buying on eBay since it started and I never look at stars, I always look at the feedback % and comments, that is the only real important thing to a buyer. Concentrate on getting good feedback and you won't go far wrong.

I'd disagree if the stars hit the 4.7/4.6 area you will start to lose customers.

As a well seasoned eBay buyer I never look at stars, and I buy loads of stuff on eBay. Stars are irrelivant to me. Same as to lots of buyers.

Can't say I've even checked them when making a purchase, I've bought 10 things this week alone and 've not checked the stars. Could not even tell you what my star rating is as a seller.

What are you going to do if you did know who was leaving them anyway?

The thing is with stars, buyers may not take any notice but ebay do & restrict your account if you go under a certain level. A couple of 1's can end your ebay selling.
OP on your dashboard, it's your Seller performance report, under reports & service tools. It won't tell you who left them but will tell you what category & price range. Also the postcode if it's a postage issue.

Yes, you can find out what stars have been left for you. I have posted how to do it on another post.

I use it as a tool to work out if I have made any mistake and if I know I haven't I put the awkward buyer on my BBL.

I don't want to sell to some idiot who thinks posting the same day he paid is worth a 1 star on despatch time, especially when they got the parcel the following day and were happy with it. They gave 5 stars for description, communication and post and packing.
